Today is actually the real Music Monday.  700,000 kids from 2,000 schools across the country will take their music programs outside the classroom to celebrate the importance of music education in schools.  I can’t imagine how my life would have turned out if I hadn’t been inspired and supported by my high school music teacher, who also happened to be my dad.  If you see a music teacher today, give him / her a big hug – they deserve it.

I know Serena Ryder’s Sing, Sing is the official song of Music Monday, but I’m going to have to go with Travis’ Sing. I mean, it’s got a food fight that involves an octopus – how cool is that?
