As a short follow-up to my previous post about the Yamaha Custom kit I picked up earlier this year, I got a comment from JS, who had also recently acquired a set of Yamaha Custom drums.  We exchanged a few e-mails, and he shared some photos with me.

As much as I love the deep blue finish of my Custom set, JS’s red kit is really something to behold.  And I’m quite envious of the 8″ tom – given the rarity of these drums, I think it’s unlikely I’ll ever find an 8″ tom to round out my set.
